Busy times……
on Nov 18 in Blog by Chris IrelandThe last few weeks have been quite hectic for me with a lot of travelling and competing. On the 5th of November I travelled to Sydney for the Vajda Narabeen Downwind Ski Race. It was tough conditions but had a great time and it is really exciting to see how popular long distance ocean paddling is becoming in the Sydney region.
Last weekend I did my first photo shoot for Grundies. The new pictures and campaign should be coming out in a few months so keep checking www.grundies.com.au and do yourself a favour and order a pair of their underwear, they are so comfortable and very affordable.
I also attended the Jupiter’s Hotel and Casino Pool Party featuring Vanilla Ice, it was a great time. If you haven’t done so already make sure you get yourself some tickets to the next one on the 4th December featuring Salt-n-Pepa. Jupiter’s always put on a great show and the weather has been perfect for it.
I also have to give a quick shout out to the QT Hotel in Surfers and their great restuarant Bazaar where I had a fantastic birthday dinner last week.
This weekend I will be heading to the Sunshine Coast for a couple of carnivals at Alexandra Headlands and Maroochydore which will be a good hit out before the first Nutri Grain Series on the 18th December at Surfers Paradise.
Next weekend I will be heading back to Sydney for the Manly King of the Harbour Ski Race so if you around drop by for the race, it all kicks off around 1pm.
Until next time….
Caine.
